Students' achievements are stimulated by a wide range of merit-based awards. There is a number of award funds both within the Faculty and on the University level aimed at rewarding students who have achieved the highest point grade average or who have produced the best papers on different legal topics. Recently, the Alan Watson Foundation, founded by the distinguished professor from the University of Georgia (USA), has been added to the group of awards.

In addition, the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Law annually grant awards to the students for high academic achievement, as well as to the best student in the graduating class. Finally, its most outstanding graduates the Faculty employs as junior assistants.
