The Faculty is situated in the heart of
the old part of
Belgrade, contiguously to the large city park Tasmajdan.
The Faculty’s historic building, built prior to WWII, was upgraded in 1995 with
a modern annex, and now comprises about 12,000 sq. meters of space. The building
houses eight lecture halls and large auditoriums, more than ten classrooms and
seminar rooms, a boardroom, and a modern conference
room. The building also accommodates the extensive library with four reading
rooms, approximately sixty faculty offices, a computing centre, a students'
computer lab, a bookstore, a photocopying centre, a students' club and a faculty
club, a legal clinic, etc. In order to improve student’s practical skills a new
moot court room was completed recently.
The large old building which houses the
Faculty of Law is a cultural monument, and the Faculty is continually investing
into its restoration, adaptation and maintenance.
