Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot

 

The following students are members of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade Vis Moot team for the 25th Vis Moot:

 

Ljubiša Vulić was born on 7 August 1996 in Belgrade. After graduating from XIII Belgrade Grammar School, he enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2015. He is currently at the final year of his studies in the area of Business Law. Last year he participated in the National Moot Court Competition concerning Anti-discrimination and since then he is a member of the Student Economic Law Review. So far he attended several internships in law offices in Belgrade during his studies. His hobbies include basketball and running. Ljubiša is fluent in English and Romanian and has basic knowledge of French.

 

Jelisaveta Boljanović was born on 6 November 1996. in Belgrade, Serbia. After graduating from XIII Belgrade Grammar School in 2015. She enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and is currently at the final year of her studies in the area of International Law. During her studies she participated in numerous study groups and courses. Her academic success was awarded throughout her studies with scholarships provided from the Mininistry of Education, Science and Culture. She attended the Vis Moot School in Switzerland in 2018. She is fluent in English and has intermediate knowledge of French and Spanish.

 

Stefan Petrović was born on 19 October 1995 in Smederevo. He finished his high school and music education in Smederevska Palanka. He enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2014 at the Department of International Law and graduated in 2018. He is currently pursuing Master's Degree in International Commercial Law at the same university. During his studies he interned in a law office and participated in the National Moot Court in the field of Anti-discrimination. He has one published article called Investor bankruptcy from under-construction flat purchaser's perspective in the Journal of Law and Commerce, no. 4-6/2018. Stefan's scientific paper (In)equality of Arbitration and Litigation in Serbian Bankruptcy Act won Gašo Knežević award for the best student scientific paper in the area of ADR. His academic success was awarded with many scholarships, including the scholarship Dositeja of the Fund for young talents of Republic of Serbia. Stefan is advanced in English and possesses an elementary knowledge of German.

 

Stefan Stanimirović was born on 8 of February 1996 in Belgrade. After graduating from III Belgrade Grammar School he enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of law in 2015 and is currently in his fourth year of studies. During his studies Stefan has participated in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot court in 2018. He attended The Salzburg summer school on European Private Law in July of 2018. He also attended the Summer school on ADR in Durres, Albania, in 2017. Stefan’s professional experience includes two internships at a prominent law office in Belgrade as well as an internship at the State Attorney of the Republic of Serbia’s office. He holds special interests in Yugoslav vinyl records, British cars of the 20th century and numismatics. He is advanced in English and has pre-intermediate knowledge of French and elementary in German.

Una Draganić was born on 19 March 1996 in Belgrade. After graduating from III Belgrade Grammar School she enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2015 where she is currently at her final year at the Department for Legal Theory and Philosophy. Her academic success was awarded on several occasions, including the scholarship for the exceptionally gifted students provided from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Her hobbies are reading literature and dancing. Una is fluent in English and Italian, and has pre-intermediate knowledge of Spanish.

Mila Đorđević was born on 27 June 1996 in Vranje. She was awarded as the best student of generation in elementary school and she graduated from Bora Stanković Grammar School. She enrolled at University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2015 where she is currently at the final year of her studies, at the Department for Legal Theory and Philosophy. Her academic success was awarded on several occasions, including the scholarships provided from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. She is one of the exhibitors on this year Student’s conference in the areas of legal theory, philosophy and sociology. She is a member of scout group and her hobbies include ballet and calligraphy. She is fluent in English and possesses intermediate knowledge of Italian.

Teodora Vujošević was born on 6 December 1995 in Podgorica. She graduated from Slobodan Škerović Grammar School in Podgorica in 2014. As an exchange student, she spent one year of high school (2012/2013) in Beverly Hills High School, California, USA. She enrolled at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law in 2014, in the area of International Law. During her studies she participated in Moot Court competition in Anti-discrimination held by Serbian Commissioner for Protection of Equality, BaLMUN – u (Banja Luka Model of United Nations) and attended several additional courses such as Introduction to German Contract Law and School of Environmental Law. She also attended VIS MOOT School in Zurich. Her professional experience includes internships at two prominent law firms. Her academic success was awarded on several occasions, including the scholarships provided from the Ministry of Education of Republic of Montenegro. Her hobbies include playing the flute and the piano, debating, traveling, volunteering and reading literature. She is fluent in English, has intermediate knowledge of Italian and elementary knowledge of Spanish.

Matija Savović was born on 19 July 1996 in Belgrade. After graduating from XII Belgrade Grammar School, he enrolled at the Belgrade University Faculty of Law 2015, taking international law course, where he is currently in the final year of bachelor. On his third year of studies he interned in civilian enforcement officer’s office. He is especially interested in company law, intellectual property law and internet law. During his additional internet law course he wrote a term paper on the subject Protection of authorship on the internet. He is fluent in English and advanced in German in which he completed a B2/2 level course in Vienna. He used to play semi-professional basketball which is in the list of his hobbies today, as well as film, literature and music..

David Vučinić was born in Belgrade, on the 2 of July 1996. He went to Elementary School Laza Kostić, where he obtained the Vuk Karadžić’s Diploma for prominent students. In addition to that, he was awarded with special diplomas for well-marked success in following subjects: Serbian language, Geography, Biology, since he was competing on municipal, regional and national levels. He was multiple times awarded as the bearer of The reader's badge. After finishing primary school, he continued his education at 10th Belgrade Grammar School. During that period, he managed to compete in Latin language, Serbian language, in writing philosophical essays in English language (on both national and international level) and in writing philosopo-sociological essays in Serbian language. In addition to that, he was continuously competing in rowing (twice won the National championship), marathon running (3 marathons ran) and ultra-marathon running (6th place in the world in the category MU23 - 93.6km for 12hours, 114km SkyRunning at Jahorina Ultra-Trail). In the end, he obtained Vuk Karadžić’s Diploma for prominent students, and was awarded with Diploma of Sportsman of generation and special diplomas from following subjects: Sociology, Philosophy. After graduating from X Belgrade Grammar school, he enrolled University of Belgrade Faculty of law in 2015. He is currently at the final year of his studies, in the both International law and Administrative-Judicial departments. Since the first year, he was attending classes in numerous study groups. During his studies, he competed in many oratorical competitions. He won the 1st place and was proclaimed as the absolute winner of oratorical competition of University of Belgrade Faculty of law in 2018. He is permanently elected member and treasurer of Forum Romanum. In the summer of 2018, he attended the Salzburg Summer School of European Private Law. He is fluent in English language (C1 diploma Galindo Inligua).
